Breakthrough Entertainment And Stephen Greenberg’s Facet4 Media Form Strategic Alliance For Unscripted Lifestyle Slate

 

First Projects In The Breakthrough-Facet4 Co-Development And Production Pact Include Off The Eaten Path and Business Bombshells

 

In a joining of forces between two top names in Canadian television entertainment, Breakthrough Entertainment and Stephen Greenberg’s newly-formed independent production and financing company Facet4 Media have forged a strategic alliance for the co-development and production of unscripted-lifestyle series to be distributed by Breakthrough for the global marketplace.  Announcement of the alliance was made by Nat Abraham, Partner and President of Worldwide Distribution for Breakthrough Entertainment and Stephen Greenberg, President of Facet4 Media.

 

The development-production partnership launches with two lifestyle reality series, Off The Eaten Path and Business Bombshells.

A home-grown business founded and steered by​ Stephen Greenberg​ of the Canadian entertainment family with a legacy of excellence, FACET4 has developed and acquired concepts in both the reality and dramatic arenas.

Stephen Greenberg launched FACET4 in 2014 along with his sister, ​Anna-Sue Greenberg​, and his son, ​Jamie D. Greenberg​. Focusing on developing, creating and financing Canadian content programming, the Greenberg’s have aligned themselves with the tremendous creative talent pool that exists in Canada. Stephen brought almost 35 years in the Canadian

television and film production industry to this new venture. His vast experience is unparalled in Canada, having worked with every major television and film studio in Canada, the U.S, and all the major territories in Europe.

Anna-Sue Greenberg is responsible for FACET4 Media’s Creative Development. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having served as Creative Executive on over 20 made for television movies as well as Marketing Director for an additional 20 television movies, television series and documentaries during her previous role at independent producer and distributor, Incendo.

Following a 3-year stint as legal counsel at Public Mobile, Jamie D. Greenberg is responsible for Acquisitions and Business Development for FACET4 Media with specific focus on researching, evaluating and attracting new content suppliers in all media to FACET4. Jamie’s experience at Public Mobile coupled with his time as legal counsel for the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has given him broad exposure to the variety of delivery, production and regulatory requirements in Canada.

Stephen Greenberg is one of the most well respected executives in the Canadian entertainment industry. Stephen has spent his career working with every major studio, production company and broadcaster in Canada, the United States and Europe earning him an undisputed reputation and accolades from colleagues around the globe. Prior to forming Facet4 Media, Stephen was owner and partner at Incendo, where under his leadership the company became one of the most important television production and distribution companies in the Country.

 

With Stephen at the helm of Incendo’s joint venture with Twentieth Century Fox International Television, Fox/Incendo became the largest television distribution company in Canada. Stephen has also served as Executive Producer of 52 made for television movies, high profile television series and documentaries, produced by Incendo, which have been broadcast and sold around the world.

 

Stephen Greenberg was responsible for establishing long term strategic partnerships with every major U.S. Studio over the years. They include: Disney, DreamWorks SKG, Warner Bros., Columbia, Paramount, MGM and Twentieth Century Fox. Additionally, he was responsible for the financing of over $500 million of production during his reign at Astral as Senior Vice President of the Astral Entertainment Group. Following the sale of Astral’s distribution and program development divisions in 1996, Stephen Greenberg became President of Coscient Astral Distribution which subsequently became Motion International, which later became TVA International.

ANNA-SUE GREENBERG

 

Anna-Sue Greenberg has been working in the film and television business for 25 years. She has devoted the past several years to working with Writers, Producers, Actors and Directors in Canada, the United States and Europe in various capacities garnering her a solid reputation within the industry. As Creative Executive at Facet4 Media, Anna-Sue will be responsible for all Creative Content, Development and Production to be produced under the Facet4 banner.

 

As the former Creative Executive at Incendo, she was responsible for the Creative development of 20 made for television movies, television series and documentaries produced by Incendo. Prior to her role as Creative Executive, Anna-Sue was head of Marketing and Communications for Incendo since its inception in 2001. She was responsible for all International and Domestic Marketing campaigns and acted as Unit Publicist on more than 20 Incendo movies until her promotion in 2009.

 

As a graduate of Concordia University, Communication Studies program, Anna-Sue began her career in 1988 at Astral Media where she gained her knowledge of the industry over a 10 year span. She then spent 5 years at Coscient Group as Marketing Director until she left and joined Incendo in 2001.

JAMIE D. GREENBERG

 

As Head of Acquisitions & Business Development at Facet4 Media, Jamie D. Greenberg is responsible for finding, evaluating and attracting new content suppliers, and production partners, in both the Canadian and international marketplaces.

 

Jamie spent the past four years at Public Mobile, one of Canada’s new entrant wireless service providers. At Public Mobile, he acted as legal counsel; while also managing all aspects of Public’s regulatory and government affairs portfolios. Prior to Public Mobile, he articled and served as legal counsel at the CRTC (the Canadian broadcasting and telecommunications regulator) where he worked on major ownership and control transactions in both the broadcasting and telecommunications industries.

 

Jamie holds a B.A. (Jt. Hons) from McGill University and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.

 

Jamie is based in Facet4 Media’s Toronto office.
